SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to administer our various social media accounts. You will be responsible for managing posts and responding to our followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our overall branding goals. This is a remote position, which requires a self-motivated team player who thrives with minimal oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

  • Design and implement a social media strategy aligned with our overall business goals

  • Set specific objectives, milestones and report key performance indicators

  • Edit, publish and share engaging weekly content

  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

  • Oversee social media account design, including overall aesthetic, layout and brand consistency across platforms

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

REQUIREMENTS

  • +3 years relevant experience as a Social Media Manager for other online-based companies

  • Hands on experience in content management

  • Knowledge of online marketing channels

  • Excellent communication, analytical and multitasking skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the point of contact among employees, clients and other external partners

  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner

  • Manage calendars and set-up meetings

  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements

  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports

  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence

  • Organize and maintain an online filing system

REQUIREMENTS

  • Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role

  • Proficient in MS Office knowledge

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Discretion and confidentiality

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
